Rise Up Singing: The Sound of Freedom
in BIG SUR, CA at Rancho Rico
This special Big Sur workshop is offered for a nominal fee, in exchange for particpants agreeing to be included in a photo and and video shoot during the event. The workshop will be held in a beautiful, ocean-view barn with great acoustics - you will receive driving directions upon registration.
In this three hour singing workshop you will receive a mini-master class in voice production, investigate your personal expression challenges and opportunities through facilitated exercises and join a community choir for a day, learning several brand new songs in the round.
Rise Up Singing: The Sound of Freedom is a pathway through the mysteries of the voice and into the greatness waiting for us. Sound can make us alive, truth can be felt in our own vibration, and space can be created in the silence after expression. Everything you need is in your hands.
The workshop is designed for adults of all ages and abilities. You don't need to be able to read music, or even think you can sing. Lisa facilitates an opening, a hunt for the very personal key to the door of your voice. Enjoy a great afternoon of play and connection and leave with more of yourself.

This weekend workshop offers an opportunity to tease out our most authentic expression, move energy, and make music with no pressure; it is the simple joy of singing together. Singers are invited to explore the full potential of their voices through exercises and songs of many genres learned in the round. This is a fabulous, fun weekend with a fabulous, fun group.

Singing offers a powerful way to connect more deeply with ourselves and others. These "playshops" offer an opportunity to tease us out, move energy and make music with no pressure - the simple joy of singing together. Lisa invites singers of all abilities to explore the full potential of their voice through exercises and songs of many genres learned in the round. Her style is shaped by more than 20 years of vocal training and teaching experience and rooted in gentle and compassionate awareness practices.
The workshops are designed for adults of all ages and abilities. You don't need to be able to read music, or even think you can sing. Come ready to explore your voice and tap your spirit in a delicious and energizing way.

Registration fees are non-refundable, however they are transferable or may be credited toward another workshop if you are unable to attend.
