host a workshop or class

If you'd like me to come lead a workshop or class in your area, here's what to do:

  1. Find six or more people who want to participate.
  2. Contact me and we'll find a date.
  3. Find a space to host the workshop. Churches or private homes can a good and free choices - other options might be an office conference room or yoga studio. Good acoustics a plus.
  4. I will work with you to market the workshop and will set up online registrations.
  5. In thanks for organizing, you participate free.

Three hour workshop or master class:
$40 per singer plus expenses (see below)

Weekend workshop (three, three hour sessions over two days):
$100 per singer plus expenses (see below)

Within 60 miles of Big Sur (Santa Cruz to San Luis Obisbo): $100 trip fee.

Bay area: $200 trip fee.

Within six hours of Big Sur (Reno to Los Angeles): $400 trip fee.

More than six hours from Big Sur: $400 trip fee plus airfare.

The workshop space and associated expenses is the responsibility of the host and can be factored into workshop pricing. So for example, a three hour master class in Denver for 40 singers would be approximately $60 per singer. Educators and choral directors: I am available to help you apply for grant or private funding to cover my services.
